Privacy Policy
KAHMZ Co., Ltd. ("we", "us"), the operator of the STATSMAN app (the "App"), respects user privacy
and considers the proper handling of personal information a key responsibility. This Privacy Policy describes how user information is collected, used, stored, and managed in the App.
The App may collect the following information:
- Registration details such as name and email address
- Physical activity data obtained from wearables such as Apple Watch
(heart rate, location, steps, distance, and motion data such as acceleration and angular velocity — used to derive jumps, turns, and acceleration/deceleration, etc.)
- App usage history (logs, access times, frequency of use, etc.)
- Device information (model, OS version, app version, etc.)
Collected information is used for the following purposes:
- Improving the accuracy of training and condition management
- Providing data analysis and visualization
- Improving app features and providing user support
- Preventing misuse and ensuring safety
- Marketing and notifications based on user consent
* Physical activity data obtained from Apple Watch and similar devices (heart rate, location, etc.) is never used for advertising or marketing purposes.
We do not provide personal information to third parties without user consent, except in the following cases:
- When required by law
- When necessary to protect life, health, or property
- Sharing with contractors to the extent necessary for operations (under confidentiality agreements)
- Providing app usage activity to the analytics services described in Section 8
- Collected data is stored on servers located in Japan under organizational and technical security measures.
- Physical activity data measured by the App (including raw sensor logs such as acceleration) may be transmitted to and stored on servers managed by us and located in Japan, within the scope of the purposes of use set out in Section 2 (analysis, visualization, storage, and functional improvement of data). Where part of the storage or processing is outsourced to a third party, we appropriately supervise such contractors in accordance with Section 3.
- We do not retain information beyond the extent necessary to achieve the purposes of use, and information no longer needed is promptly deleted or anonymized in an appropriate manner.
We may process collected information into forms that cannot identify individuals (statistics and anonymized data) and use it for:
- Improving service quality and researching new features
- Creating benchmarks and reference values by age group and sport
- Producing and publishing statistical materials
Information is never published or provided in a form that can identify individuals.
The App is available to users of all ages, including junior athletes. Minors should use the App with the consent of a parent or guardian.
We ask that children's measurement data and personal information be handled under parental supervision.
You have the following rights regarding your personal information:
- Request access, correction, or deletion
- Request suspension of use or of third-party provision

The App may use cookies and similar technologies to improve user experience. You can restrict their use via browser settings.
Our website (statsman.app) uses Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics to understand site usage. These tools collect anonymous access data via cookies and do not identify individuals. You can opt out via browser settings or the Google Analytics Opt-out Add-on.
The App also uses Microsoft Clarity, an analytics service provided by Microsoft Corporation, to find confusing screens and points where users get stuck so that we can improve them. The service records in-app interactions (taps, scrolls, and screen transitions) along with what is shown on screen, so that we can review them as session replays and heatmaps. The recorded information is sent to Microsoft's servers.
Before this information is sent, we mask your name, nickname, date of birth, gender, country, team, team history, body measurements (such as height and weight), profile photo, and the map showing where a session was measured. We do not provide physical activity data itself, such as heart rate or location data, to this service.
You can stop taking part in this recording at any time from "Help improve by sharing interactions" in the App menu. Turning it off does not limit any feature of the App.
The App also uses Google Tag Manager to manage its measurement tags.
This policy may be updated without prior notice. Important changes will be announced in the App or on our website.
If we change how your information is handled — such as where data is stored or with whom it is shared — we will announce it in advance and obtain renewed consent where necessary.
